Have you ever boxed? Brutal isn't it? Not just the sport itself, whaling against each other's faces with your fists, but the sheer stamina it takes to keep punching a heavybag. Tonight I took a kickboxing class after laying off about a year. It was challenging, no doubt. But add in the fact that heavyweight contender James Toney sat in watching the class. We're talking about a serious boxer. Very intimidating. It seemed no matter how hard I aimed to punch the bag, I just hit like a girl. Now, when we threw the kicks in, it was another story. There were other professional boxers in class too and none of them tried kicking. Ha! All us women looked like a chorus line with our synchronized kicks. Just don't make us punch the bag!
