The Solution Hidden in PLAIN Sight
Okay, I admit I was angry and disappointed when I wrote my post about Constant Contact. Nevertheless, those were my feelings so I'm leaving the post as is. (They did come back and tell me they lifted the ban on my account but made sure to admonish me for having those evil emails on my list.)
Thanks to all for your great feedback. I looked closer at several options including NDIC (the Ezine Queen's provider). But it wasn't clear how they could help me. Maybe some copy updating is in order. ;-) I also looked at Cooler Email and like them quite a bit. My problem with them is you're charged per email. Since my ezine goes out 4 times a month, I was looking at a hefty bill.
Then fellow copywriter, Alan Forrest Smith reminded me of KickStart Cart (Tom Antion's private label of One Shopping Cart - the Cadillac of all carts.) Now when I first went to do my ezine, KickStart didn't have an HTML option. They have since added it in. And because I update my own website in FrontPage, I am now able to generate my own HTML. The best news is, I'M ALREADY PAYING FOR IT!! So I'm going to try that option out.
