Cher is a role model to older women everywhere
My girlfriends, Mickley, Cynthia and Rachel have been very close since the mid 80s. We've gone through a lot together. Marriages, children, divorces, remarriages...anything you can think of. And we are ALWAYS there for each other. Last night we went to see Cher live at the Hollywood Bowl. Cyn and Mick used to work there when they were teens and we got upgraded to the second row!!!! It was fantastic.
The Village People opened (I don't think any of them are the original guys though I could be wrong.) Then Cher came out. We all were in awe. She is nearly 60 and looks great. Her voice is beautiful. We wanted to invite her into our girl group (think she'd take us up on it?) I know, she's had a lot done but so what. It's her business. The truth is she was fantastic. We love you Cher!
