Vegas, Baby, Vegas

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Well that's pretty easy when you go with your teenage sons to visit family. My husband John and I drove Justin and Chase to Las Vegas to visit a set of their grandparents. Boy did we have a busy weekend! It was a blast though.

First we saw a magic show, complete with white tigers. Only now they leash the beasts since the brutal attack on Siegfried of Siegfried and Roy. Then we went to Tony and Tina's Wedding, a fun interactive dinner theatre gig.

The next day we went to see "Tournament of the Kings", a medievial show with horses, acrobats, and magic! Our king was from Ireland. Even though I am part Irish, it was hard to keep up the rouse when he kept losing every battle - no matter how hot he was. (Remember, this IS Vegas where everyone is better looking than the one you just saw. Sure his role is that of a king in this play. But the truth is he's another actor who has defeated thousands of others for this plum role. I guess I can see to it to support him as a king after all.)

Here you see my father, Gary, my stepmom, Syl, son Chase, son Justin. Hazzah!!!

Comments:
I got to see the same show only our King was Spain and he WON!! We got our picture taken by them so we could remember the time my husband Mike and I had there. Having lived in Las Vegas for 15 years then moving away it was fun to go back and see things like the Kings of Tournament. I was one of the lucky ones, I got see (can't spell his name) and Roy show years before, I probably saw the parents of the tiger that got him.
