Ali's Beach House
I am so proud of what my friend, Ali Brown, was able to pull off! She had a dream, got clear on what she wanted, and manifested a beautiful beach home! She just moved in on Thursday and was up for a small get together just two days later. We socialized too much to take too many pictures but here's what I got...

Me, Kim Castle, Ali, and Dana Ehrlich (her real estate agent) toasting to possibilities!

June Swoon - Part IV, Girls On the Town
I'm lucky. I have been friends with this group of terrific ladies since the mid-80s. We've gone through so much together - marriages, divorces, births, exercise commitments, plastic surgery, wild successes and tragic debts. It just makes us closer. I know we can count on each other until we're little old shriveled up ladies. It's a good feeling.

Here are Rachel, me, Mickley, Sheila (more of a new friend), and Cynthia. It seems we always run out of evening before conversation.

June Swoon - Part III, Vegas, Baby, Vegas
I got to speak for a group of faux finishing artists at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Besides loving the attendees (I really relate to artists' values) my parents also live there (I have two sets). AND I got to hang out with yet another Platinum mentee, Kate Yandoh. So it was thrice the fun!

Kate was in town to renew her vows with her hubby, Tom. They had a typical Vegas wedding, complete with Elvis walking her down the aisle.

Here are my proud parents. John actually arranged them have me sneak in and see me speak in public for the first time. I'm glad I didn't know they were there until after or I would have been VERY nervous.

Kelly King is the force behind the Fauxcademy. They paid attention to so many details and really gave the attendees a first class event.

June Swoon - Part II, Dan Kennedy
There were a lot of activities in June, so I broke them up into separate posts. Let's check in with some pix from Dan Kennedy's Creativity Seminar in the middle of nowhere...I mean, Ohio.

Two more of my Platinum mentees, Susan and Kenny Rogers, picked me up from the airport. Then we had dinner with my gal pal, Alexandria Brown.

Dan let Ali and I meet some of his 28 race horses. It was cool to really see him in an element he loves beyond marketing.

While Dan respected my Red Hot Chicken promotion (even mentioned it in a three-page spread of his newsletter), he resisted being photographed with it. Finally he relented.

Whew! June is over!
Oh my gosh! I am so glad to be looking at July with June behind me. I can't tell you how much travel I endured. It used to be fun to travel but it ain't no more. Of course, as always, I managed to squeeze some fun and networking in my learning and speaking gigs. Here is a fast photo essay of June 2006...
First off was my birthday on June 1st, followed by a fun 666 party for my seventh anniversary to my husband, John. (We were married on June 6, 1999...making June 6, 2006 our "666" anniversary. Get it?)

I was excited to have my mentee, LouAnn Savage join us as well as Terri Lee Romine who I have been friends with since 1999 when I first started my business. And let's not forget the cool Red Hot Chicken!

This is my ex-husband, Richard, and his friend, Dr. Steve (the bald one).
